Coffee Talk is small a collection of wonderful excerpts from the Original Bench Talk Newsletter — which was printed monthly and sent to students attending his woodworking classes. Alongside the down-to-business details and class schedules, Wallace consistently mixed in a small treasury of timeless advice, thoughts on everyday life, curious quotes, and things we just plain love to read. We’ve pulled these choice lines out of the newsletters and gave them their own home, right here. We think you’ll appreciate it just the same as we do.
You may even spot these tucked throughout the website, in the places where “something Mr. Sawdust said” just makes sense to share. So keep an eye out for the mug.
Why the mug? Coffee was a staple for Mr. Sawdust — black, anytime, night or day — alone, engrossed in a creative thought, or surrounded by stimulating conversation… so a little mug feels about right.
